Invenio, Deephunter and Jeohunter are imaging systems rather than conventional detectors: they build a three-dimensional picture of what is under the ground, including cavities. For deep searching over a defined area this is a different class of tool from a standard detector, and it is where Nokta is most distinctive.
Strong value at the conventional end
The Legend, Simplex and Score machines compete directly with more expensive rivals on features. Simplex in particular built its reputation on offering waterproofing and multi-frequency at a price point where neither was normal. If budget is the constraint, this part of the range is worth a close look.
Firmware updates are worth using
Nokta has a track record of shipping meaningful firmware updates to machines already sold, which occasionally add features rather than just fixing bugs. Check for an update when a new detector arrives rather than assuming the box version is current.
